Let Us Help You With Your Insurance Claim

After a storm, you may be left with visible roof damage, but sometimes to the untrained eye storm damage can be overlooked. Dealing with insurance claims can be stressful, and it is best to have a reputable roofing company check your roof for damage. All In Roofing knows what to look for and can help guide you through the insurance process. We have worked with, all of the major insurance companies that cover properties in Northern Colorado.

Often if you cannot see any roof damage from the ground after a storm, it is easy to think that your roof did not sustain any damage.

If hail is accompanied by high winds, even small-sized hail can damage your home’s roof or cause shingles to lose areas of protective granules. Soft membranes on flat commercial properties can be punctured or edge seals compromised. Sometimes these damages do not show up quickly or can be easily overlooked. Untreated damage can greatly shorten the life of your roof. It is best to have the roof inspected by an experienced roofing professional.

“I’ll just have the insurance adjuster look at my roof.”

Insurance adjusters may not do as thorough of an inspection as a roofing professional would do, and may overlook some of the hard-to-see damages that can be caused by wind and hail. A professionally trained roofing professional knows where to look for storm damage and has the ability to help negotiate the proper claim settlement. We know what it takes to complete your repairs and can help you ensure your settlement claim includes everything needed to restore your home to pre-storm condition.

If our estimate for repairs exceeds what your insurance adjuster quoted, it is typically because the adjuster overlooked something in their inspection. Our estimators are highly trained and experienced, and in almost all cases we can help you work out the difference with the insurance company by submitting documentation of the additional damage we have observed.

Never let yourself be pressured to select the lowest bidder. Your decision should be based on hiring the contractor that you feel most comfortable with and whom you feel will perform the best work. Most insurance companies will allow bids that are over their claim allowance and will pay up to the amount on the actual invoice for the repairs.

Also, be sure you are comparing apples to apples when reviewing estimates from companies. There is probably a good reason if there is a large cost difference (quality of materials, experienced roofing crew, workmanship warranty, etc.).

Finally, your filing claim time period is also something to keep in mind. Most insurance companies typically allow claims out to 12 to 24 months after the damage occurs. Contact your insurance agent for more information about this time period for your property.

“Working with John has been fantastic. Our house was vacant and on the market when we received hail damage. John was able to immediately provide me a quote and begin work.

I had never dealt with the insurance company to this capacity so I was rather naïve. He took the time to educate me and he also worked directly with my insurance company which saved me many headaches.

I was out of state during this entire process, he made it very simple, provided fast service and excellent workmanship.”

“All in Roofing delivered beyond expectations on every aspect of my roofing project. Not only did they come In under estimate but added some well needed extras that I had not anticipated. Despite some curves that Mother Nature dealt, John was successfully able to adapt & overcome them as well as building my confidence during the process. The crew were extremely efficient & thorough, cleaned up well. Customer service & availability are outstanding. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for a great looking & solid roof!”
